Arsenal title hopes has been made extremely difficult by superb Andy Carroll who scored a hat trick as West Ham settled for a draw against the Gunners. Koscielny’s goal secured a point for Arsenal after they lost a 2 goal lead in the closing minutes of the first half.

Arsenal needed to win every remaining game to close the gap on league leaders Leicester before the end of the season, Leicester could be 13 points above Arsenal if they win Sunderland on Sunday

Arsenal were leading by two great goals from Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez until Andy Carroll miraculously levelled before half time and added another after the half time break before Luarent Koscielny grabbed an equalizer at the closing minutes of the game.

Arsene Wenger complained that his players inability to defend “air balls” also contributed to their defeat today. Who doubts him?



Villa’s relegation to the Championship hasn’t been confirmed yet but their fans witnessed another abysmal performance from them today as they lost 2-1 to Bournemouth.

Bournemouth took the lead at the closing minutes of the first half with a goal from Steve Cook. Josh King scored what proved to be the winner on the 74th minute and Jordan Ayew managed to claw one back before the game ended.

Aston Villa are now 15 points away from safety with five more games to play. Any hope? Don’t think so….



Newcastle might not be far from Aston Villa after they lost again against the Saints today.. They are six points away from safety and also have six games left.

Southampton took the lead after four minutes with a goal from Shane Long, Pelle doubled their lead and Victor Wanyama made it three before Townsend scored a consolation goal.

Rafa Benitez who hasn’t won a game since he took over the managerial position hopes that their home form will help them escape relegation.



Chelsea unbeaten run has been ended by Swansea who managed to grab three points today after a goal from Sigurdsson.

Montero delivered a cross which Miazga failed to deal with effectively allowed sigursson to net a deciding goal at liberty stadium. Their defeat today puts a dent to their possible Europa qualification position fro next season.



Watford and Everton settled for a 1-1 draw at the Vicarage Road with goals from James McCarthy and Jose Holebas.

Both goals came at the closing minutes of the first half. Everton are now lying on the 14th position in the table, just one point above their host Watford.

Manchester City came from Behind to win West Brom 2-1 with goals from Kun Aguero and Samir Nasri.

Stephane Sessegnon scored the opener in the 6th minute before conceading a penalty afterwards that let Aguero score the equalizer. Injury prone Samir Nasri scored the winner at the 66th minute.
Crystal palace will be in the premier league next season after escaping  relegation today with a 1-0 win over Norwich City.
Puncheon scored the only goal that gave them the three points today. The win moves Palace 10 points clear off Sunderland at the final relegation place. Norwich are still four points above Sunderland who have a game in hand and will entertain group leaders Leicester on Sunday.
