Eden Hazard and Thomas Vermalean are available and will feature in today’s clash with Italy.
Eden Hazard was forced out of the training with a minor injury after he was stood on, but the Chelsea star is available for today’s game and will lead Belgium as they face Italy. Belgium Coach, Marc Wilmots revealed that Eden suffered a “knock” and does not think it is a serious problem.
“Thomas has done well in training over the last days and is completely ready for the battle. He has no more problems,” Wilmots added.
Italy on the other hand also experienced injury problems as Marco Veratti and Claudio Marchisio were left out.
Antonio Conte said he is fully aware of the problems the Belgium team can cause, he also praised their attack and midfield and hopes his defence will shut down their attacking threats, “They are strong everywhere, in attack and midfield, with lots of substance. At the back, they have a lot of experience. They’re a great side for me, in terms of both the present and the future”, he said.
