Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier has confirmed that recent signing Nicklas Bendtner will be fit to face former club Arsenal in the EFL Cup tomorrow night.
The striker joined the Championship outfit earlier this month on a free transfer following the termination of his contract at Wolfsburg earlier in the year.
After making two substitute appearances so far, the 28-year-old is in line for a reunion with his old club after Montanier confirmed the Denmark international’s fitness in his pre-match press conference.
Bendtner’s arrival at the City Ground has added extra spice to the clash against the Gunners as he spent nine years at the club between 2005 to 2014 – including loan spells at Birmingham, Sunderland and Serie A giants Juventus.
