Patrick Bamford has apologised to Chelsea fans after he liked photos posted by Hector Bellerin and Mesut Ozil on Instagram showing Arsenal celebrating their 3-0 win over the Blues.
The 23-year-old, who is on a season-long loan to Burnley, liked the photos after Chelsea’s defeat at the Emirates with the win secured by goals from Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott.
Bamford has since apologised for his actions, after it was flagged up by a Chelsea fans on Twitter, saying he was liking his friends’ pictures with no disrespect intended.
Bamford has made two appearances for the Clarets this season, coming off the bench in their 3-0 defeat to Leicester City and 1-1 draw against Hull.
