Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Luke Shaw are both fit to face Liverpool on Monday night.
Shaw aggravated a groin problem in the loss to Watford at Vicarage Road last month, a game in which manager Mourinho was heavily critical of the left-back’s performance.
Meanwhile, Mkhitaryan has been missing since the 2-1 defeat home to Manchester City back in September, a game the Armenia captain disappointed in and was taken off at half time as a result.
Whilst Shaw is expected to start in the game at Anfield next week, Mourinho is likely not to risk Mkhitaryan from the off and the 27-year-old will most probably have to settle for a place on the bench.
