After the unwanted distraction of the international break, Manchester United and Arsenal are set to renew their rivalries at the theatre of dreams. The gunners have been in fine form this season, losing only on the opening day to Liverpool who has been imperious themselves so far.

Both managers will know each other all too well with Wenger failing to beat the Portuguese in 11 premier league outings. The Gunners have also not won at Old Trafford in 10 years. Their latest meeting in February marked the debut of Marcus Rashford who blew Arsenal away with a 3 minute brace. Wenger’s men were the in-form team on that occasion and they were on a title charge. Form they say goes out the window in these fixtures.

Zlatan Ibrahimović will miss this fixture due to his one match ban for accumulating 5 yellow cards so far this season. That gives the opportunity for Rashford to start upfront for United for the first time this season. He has scored only one goal in the campaign so far and what better opponents to play than Arsenal. Captain Wayne Rooney is set to start for the Red Devils. He has the most goals in this fixture with 13 goals.

The Gunners have got a few injury concerns after the international break. First choice right back Hector Bellerin has been ruled out for a month. There were some concerns about the fitness of Alexis Sanchez when he was on duty for his country but the Chilean has recovered in time for this epic clash. Mesut Ozil has been in scintillating form this season. He will be fresh after a week free from international football.  He and his teammates will be hoping for a change of fortunes against one of their fiercest rivals.

United versus Arsenal rarely fails to entertain. From the 8-2 humiliation to the time when United defeated Arsenal to bring an end to their 49 game unbeaten run, it has to be said that this fixture means a lot to both teams. United are chasing the pack already this season and cannot afford to have another slip up. Arsenal would love to keep their momentum going in this competitive title race. Jose Mourinho will be looking to continue his hoax on Wenger as he seeks to make it 12 league games unbeaten against the French man.

Don’t miss it. KICK OFF is at 12:30GMT.
